Kung Fuey:
Martial Arts Film Fest
Student project, 2018

Responsibilities
Concept, promotional material, copywriting

Kung Fuey is a fictional film festival. Over the course of three nights, it screens the classic martial arts movies of the 1980s that pioneered the genre we know today. Some of us may love. Others may hate it. Nonetheless, we all know the familiar gestures and movements of martial arts. The imagination of sleek maneuvers and techniques is all we need to get put into the shoes of a ninja hero. Hands and feet break the typographic-heavy messages creating the sense of movement and strength seen in martial arts.
